Product Design

Hi there! I’m a Product Designer with a mixed background in Informatics and Psychology, and a deep love for everything design-related.

My journey as a User Experience professional has been rooted in the study of foundational fields such as Human-Factors & Ergonomics, Human-Computer Interaction, and Cognitive Psychology. Quite soon in my professional path, I had the good fortune to be able to apply theory to practice and for the last 12 years, I’ve been coordinating or participating in design projects that touched industries such varied as the automotive, healthcare, Information Technologies, and Media & Entertainment.

Above all, I’m an advocate for user-centered approaches and the contribution user research can bring to product design.

Most recently, I’ve been exploring the intersection of AI and the design process -- specially focusing on Spec-Driven Development approaches to champion ‘Design-on-Code’ as a transformative way of working.

As a Product Designer I’m also a key communicator between the Experience and the Development team, being responsible for providing comprehensive design solutions that can vary from reports, to low or high-fidelity mock-ups, prototypes, and Figma design files. As of 2023 I’ve take on the role of team lead for the Mobile Experience team at OutSystems.
